The Gualala River lies just south of the town of Gualala, 130 miles northwest of San Francisco. Although the Gualala River is small compared to most California Steelhead streams, approximately 11 miles of fishable water offers both quality Steelhead fishing and quality fishing experience.
Garcia River
The Garcia River is primarily a steelhead stream similar to the Gualala River. Unlike the open access along the Gualala River, access on the short fishable section of the Garcia River, 10 miles, is confined because property owners have posted most of the land.
